Back to work again

by craftycards @ 15/07/2007 - 20:10:53

Where has the weekend gone, I'm sure Saturday and Sunday have less than 24 hours in them, or is it just that I try to squeeze so much into them.

Today has been miserable weather wise, rain again all day. I should have done the ironing but went to visit my mum instead.

I'm not looking forward to work tomorrow either I have an extra busy day and camnnot see me fitting it in to my normal working hours so it looks like I'll be late home again:(
That's ok once in while but it is getting far too often for my liking, I must try not to volunteer for things so often; or simply to say no I cannot manage that.

It would help if I could stop feeling so tired all the time, it's not easy getting older is it, things that you used to fly though now take you longer and are more tiring or is it because they become more boring?

Either way I am off to sip the regulation glass of red wine

I think things are more boring and we get tired a bit easier as well. I can't stand high stress things like I used to in the work place. I used to thrive on it.

I think you have the answer there, i no longer enjoy the stress either.
I did get most of the days tasks done in the end but after staying over 1/2 hour I thought no more I am going home, which is just what I did :sigh

Hope you enjoiyed your glass of wine - I'm planning on having 1 or 3 later. I'm not surprised you are tired. Being a support worker is one of the most demanding jobs there is. M & I do some NVQ assessing, so we have some idea of your job...we think!
